The choice of the artist is made according to their aspirations and the desired result:
• Ingres d'ARCHES MBM laid grain, flexible and resistant, to provide body and depth.
MANUFACTURED IN A ROUND SHAPE (TRADITIONAL PROCESS) A quality that is close to that of handcrafted paper. The slow rotation of the cylinder allows the fibers to be deposited evenly and spread in all directions of the fabric. The paper is thus homogeneous and has good dimensional stability. Only the manufacture in a round shape allows to obtain papers with beards.
USE Pencil, pastel, charcoal, sanguine, graphite, marker.
SHEET: AUTHENTICITY AND PRESTIGE Barbas. Filigree.
Laid TEXTURE. The layers provide a certain relief to the paper and offer it a prestigious surface that allows the tiniest nuances of the mine to be preserved, giving body and depth to the work. Paper famous for its exceptional qualities in Fine Arts schools around the world. Favorite paper of the French artists of the XIX century (Eg Charcoal drawing by Georges Seurat).
SPECIAL FORMULATION Surface gelatin. It limits the absorption capacity of the paper (the ink does not drip) and ensures that the fibers hold correctly. Optimal result even after repeated modifications.
75% COTTON High cotton index, very resistant paper. The pleasure of using a soft, flexible, noble material (incredible to the touch).
White color.
CONSERVATION With alkaline reserve, without acid, or optical brighteners (permanent in accordance with ISO 9701).
